Answers for parents, learners, schools, partners, and supporters.

These answers explain the public application and support process. Individual requirements and fees are confirmed by authorized foundation staff.

Ask the Foundation
01Who can apply for education support?

A parent, guardian, learner, or authorized representative may submit an application for a learner who genuinely needs education support. Every application is reviewed before any support is confirmed.

02Which education levels are supported?

Nyunga Foundation receives applications from nursery and early childhood through primary, secondary, vocational, technical, university, and other tertiary levels, subject to available opportunities and the completed review process.

03What is the difference between a full and half bursary?

A full bursary covers the confirmed tuition fees for the supported education level. A half bursary covers the foundation-approved share of tuition, while the family pays the remaining share and applicable learner or school requirements.

04Are registration and lawyer fees mandatory?

Yes. The registration fee is paid during registration. The lawyer fee is paid later, on the final reporting day when the learner is being prepared to join the school and the required legal documentation is completed.

05Who sets registration fees, lawyer fees, and school requirements?

Authorized Nyunga Foundation staff set the amounts and requirements for each education level using the latest information from the schools and the legal documentation process. Applicants should rely only on the official figures communicated through the foundation.

06Which documents and photographs may be required?

The foundation may request learner and guardian photographs, identification or supporting documents, school information, previous academic records, and other evidence needed to review the application. Staff will explain the exact requirements for the selected education level.

07Does submitting an application guarantee a bursary?

No. Submission starts the review process. Support depends on verified need, available bursary opportunities, suitable school placement, available resources, and completion of the foundation’s approval process.

08Can a learner receive support without changing schools?

Yes. Where appropriate and resources allow, the foundation may provide direct support or scholastic materials while the learner remains at the current school or learning centre.

09How will I know whether my application was successful?

The foundation provides an application or registration reference and communicates the next step through its authorized staff and official contact channels. Applicants should keep their reference details and respond promptly when additional information is requested.

10What school requirements can be requested?

Requirements differ by education level and school. They may include uniforms, books, stationery, calculators, mattresses, personal items, admission documents, or other school-specific requirements communicated by authorized staff.

11How can schools and community partners work with Nyunga Foundation?

Schools, religious institutions, community leaders, donors, and other partners may contact the foundation to discuss learner referrals, school placements, community outreach, bursary support, and accountable education partnerships.

12How can I donate or support the work?

Use the official Donate page or contact Nyunga Foundation directly. Do not send funds to unofficial agents or unverified accounts. The foundation confirms the correct payment and accountability process for every contribution.

13How does Nyunga Foundation protect learner information?

Application and learner information is used only for assessment, placement, authorized follow-up, support management, and accountability. Public stories and media should be used respectfully and with appropriate consent.
